The room was beautiful and excellent with comfortable beds. the best thing was how amazing and lovely the staff were. - the location was unbeatable, just a short stroll away from a 24.14-acre park.

The room is clean and have a nice view of the Hilo Bay and mountain. Plenty of parking space.

General facility is a bit run down. Other than breakfast the hotel does not serve other meals.

Location. The new interiors, where available, are very nice.

Renovation is not yet complete so lobby,elevators not operating very well. Our room had been renovated but the bathroom pocket door did not work as it was hung crooked. The bathroom vent did not work.

This place is situated right by the ocean and has a convenient location near a shopping mall and the Farmer's market.

The breakfast had outstanding choices, including fruit and bacon, sadly we were in a hurry and didn't try all of it. The location was amazing, for example, a county park was just a short walk away from...  

Location on the harbor and views are excellent. Close proximity of the city of Hilo affords multitides of restaurant and shopping choices.

The room was clean. The tv was good size maybe 36 inches mounted fairly high on the wall...lots of channels/cable I assume. The hotel staff were polite and tidy , very pleasant to be around...nice smiles too. I think it was pretty good quality for...

Our rooms were brand new and of good quality with a nice view. the bar was a great spot for a relaxing hour. - the hotel has a perfect location, just a short distance away from everywhere we needed to go. - the lunch...  

Nice rooms for a one night stay.

The outer appearance of the hotel was not really nice. Half way painted.

The service was excellent, the room was very comfortable, and the breakfast of fresh papaya, banana and homemade bread was delicious!

The location here is great, being very close to the airport, and there are some nice restaurants around; moreover, the room has been renovated and they serve a pleasant hot breakfast, making it a good place for exploring a nearby park.

Its location and ease of use

Noisy hallways. Need to buffer sound of visitors moving through the halls. Normal noise of tile flooring and suit case wheels, hard walls and sound propagation with extended echoing and doors that automatically slam make sleeping difficult.

I stayed at the Naniloa about 30 years ago on my first trip to Hawaii. I stayed again for sentimental reasons. Nice to see that it is being renovated. The location is excellent. The memories are great. Will be nice when all the work is done. Of course, it is a different time now. I remember having turn down service with a chocolate on my pillow.

Ice machine. Had to go to the 7th floor and it was a little stinky.
